PicSay Pro: A mini-Photoshop in the palm of your hand!
I tried out PicSay's free version on the Android market and was really amazed. It was like a mini-photoshop in the palm of my hand! Its got so many awesome features to edit and enhance images on the go. You can add fancy text, all kinds of symbols or goofy cartoon decorations like hats, crazy eyes, mustaches and tons of other things.
Where it shines is its ability to touch up photos and really enhance them. That was my incentive in upgrading to PicSay Pro. If a picture comes out too dark for instance, you can easily enhance it to where everything is suddenly clear and visible. You can smooth out photos to a point where things like blemishes and acne vanish. You can add all kinds of effects and borders to give it a professional and edgy look.
I find a lot of my female friends ask me to touch up some of their pics and they're really impressed with the enhancements. PicSay Pro takes a good picture and makes it incredible! Whether its something serious or just for laughs, PicSay has something for everyone. Its stable and I've never experienced crashing with it after over a year of use.
Everyone takes pics with their cell phones these days. Its convenient but the quality is not always great. Having PicSay Pro changes that. If you've been on the fence about PicSay Pro, trust me, buy this app! You've got the green light from me!
If you'd like to try it, the free version can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace here. The pro version can be found on Amazon here.

IM+ Pro
IM+ Pro is definitely one of my favorite Android powered mobile messenger services. It was originally $10 now $4 but I was lucky enough as an Amazon.com member to get it free since they give away a different Android app every day of the week! IM+ allows you to log into ANY IM service such as Skype, AIM, YIM, Facebook chat, GoogleTalk and many more. You're logged in to as many accounts as you want all through 1 program.
IM+ Pro is extremely user friendly. Its 1 large buddy list divided by the service and very easy to navigate between messages and keep track of your conversations. Overall its very stable and you can set accounts to log in automatically when you open the app. The only problem I notice is through Skype messenger which tends to log me out often when I use a 3G signal.
Recently the app was updated to include a function called Beep. This is similar to WhatsApp if any of you have tried that. Basically you input your cell # and can send web texts instead of regular SMS texts to other friends with Beep. Its like an IM program where your phone number is your screen name. Perhaps you or your friends don't have unlimited SMS texting, this is a free alternative way which takes advantage of the web function.
There are concerns regarding security because IM+ seems to use your info to log into their own private servers where they can relay the messages back and forth better. I'm sure their servers are secure but I think the capability for them to see the IMs makes some nervous.
Anyway I've tried practically every other IM service. The official AIM and YIM ones are pathetic. The other multi-function ones like Trillian were subpar and has annoying glitches. IM+ Pro is the best and you definitely won't be disappointed with it!
